The FFII e.V. is a public benefit charity under German law. It relies on your financial donations and volunteers to sustain the promotion of free information infrastructures. A public benefit status means donations are usually tax reductible in Germany. And this may also apply to donors from other EU member states according to a recent ruling of the European Court of Justice.

Donate via cheque

Cheques generally are not the preferred payment mode anymore. Issuing Eurocheques ceased on 1 January 2002. However, our international donors are still welcome to send a cheque to

FFII e.V., Blutenburgstr. 17, D-80636 München, Germany.

Fees we pay for incoming cheques are EUR 0.00 if drawn to a bank that has branches in Germany (for instance we received an EUR 30.00 donation from Lithuania via the Vilnius Deutsche Bank office) or ~ 7.00 EUR if drawn to a bank that has no branches in Germany (We paid a 7 EUR amount of feed for a 30 EUR donation via La Poste, France).
